Tripura-born Kallol Bhattacherjee is a Senior Assistant Editor with The Hindu where he writes on India’s foreign affairs and the South Asian neighbourhood. He is the author of Nehru’s First Recruits: The Diplomats Who Built Independent India’s Foreign Policy; A Singular Spy: The Untold Story of Coomar Narain; and The Great Game in Afghanistan: Rajiv Gandhi, General Zia and the Unending War.
