Bio
Mohamed Maliki is Morocco’s Ambassador to India with additional responsibility of Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Maldives since October 2016.
A graduated in English Literature, he earned his diploma in “Diplomatic Studies” from the Pakistan Foreign Service Academy in Islamabad.
He has served the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Morocco since 1989 with major responsibilities and Asia and Oceania; Eastern & Southern Africa, as well as Pakistan and Cameroon.
He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
He is an alumnus of International Institute of Public Policy and Management, Malayasia and the Near East South Asia Strategic Studies at the National Defence University in Washington,
His first book What If… WHY NOT? was published in December 2025. It highlights his diplomatic career in various places of his postings as well as his reflections on various incidents during his lifetime.
